Title: How-To Troubleshoot KEH VPN
- Hit the Windows key in lower left-hand corner of your screen (or hit the Windows button on your keyboard)
- Type in VPN and hit Enter
- Click Advanced Options button
- Make sure your settings match these below. Pay close attention to the Server Name or Address field.
- Enter your Username and current network Password
- Hit SAVE button
- Go back to KEH VPN and select Change Adapter Settings
- Right click once on KEH VPN>select Properties:
- Click on the Networking tab
- Try unchecking the box next to “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and then click OK.
- Click on the Security tab and verify your settings look like below:
- Click on the Options tab and make sure the box next to Remember my credentials is checked.
- Now try connecting to KEH VPN again.
- If you continue to have issues, please contact IT for further assistance!
Possible Error Messages
- Don’t panic if you get the above error message! It just means that you probably either entered your Username or Password incorrectly or your password has expired.
- Make sure you are using either username@keh.local or KEH\Username in the Username field.
- Then enter your current network password.
Examples are shown below:
- If you haven’t changed your network password in a LONG time, you might want to reach out to one of us in IT so we can check your Active Directory (network) password and help you reset it.
